The Technical and applied atudies - industrial arts (TAS-IA) department is a dynamic faculty comprising of a number of specialty trained teachers.
The TAS-IA department encourages students to develop creative and practical skills in a range of technological areas. The students also build a knowledge base of the practicalities and uses of technology in everyday life.
Areas of study in TAS-IA include:
- Stage 4 technology (incorporating metal, timber, plastics and computing)
- Stage 5 industrial technology - design, engineering, timber, electronics and graphics
- Stage 6 industrial technology - multimedia industries, graphics industries and timber products and furniture industries
- Stage 6 engineering studies
- Stage 6 VET construction
- Stage 6 VET information technology
- Stage 6 information processes and technology
